Moving to middle school is a big step, and San Angelo ISD is here to help make the transition a positive one. The San Angelo ISD Middle School Jump Start program gives incoming sixth-grade students the opportunity to become familiar with their new campus, learn middle school routines and build confidence before the first day of school.

That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year! 🎉As we celebrate another year of learning and growth, we invite SAISD families to commemorate the last day of school with our free printable signs. Download and print the sign(s) and snap a photo of your student holding their sign on the last day of school. Superintendent Newsletter - May 2026

The May Superintendent Update shares important end-of-year information for San Angelo ISD families, including graduation details, early dismissal reminders, summer meal sites, summer program opportunities, and 2026–2027 enrollment information. The update also celebrates student and staff achievements, highlights district events and recognitions, shares bond construction progress, and includes a recap of the May Board of Trustees meeting.

Top 25 Graduates Class of 2026 for CHS and LVHS

As graduation day quickly approaches, San Angelo ISD is proud to recognize the top 25 graduating seniors from both Central High School and Lake View High School. These students have dedicated countless hours to academics, extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities while demonstrating determination, discipline and grit throughout their educational journeys.

2027-2028 Proposed Elementary Attendance Boundaries with a map as the background

At last night’s Regular Board Meeting, San Angelo ISD administration presented recommendations for proposed elementary attendance boundary adjustments to take effect during the 2027-2028 school year. The proposed changes are intended to help balance enrollment across the district, improve operational efficiency and support long-term student needs in response to declining enrollment and budgetary pressures.
